Meditation Resource Playlist

I find so many want to learn how to meditate, but don't know where to start. Here are a few of my top meditation resources that I've personally used and vetted.
Meditation has many potential benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving focus and concentration, enhancing self-awareness and emotional regulation, and promoting a sense of inner peace and well-being. If you're interested in starting a meditation practice, here are a few tips to get you started: 1. Choose a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed, consider using ear buds or noise cancelling headphones. 2. Sit in a comfortable position, sitting preferred over lying down! 3. Set a timer for the desired length of your meditation session. Start with a shorter time, like 5-10 minutes, and gradually increase as you get more comfortable with the practice. 4. Focus on your breath- either by counting your breaths or simply observing the sensations of your breath as it enters and leaves your body (The Alan Watts meditation on my playlist is great for this!) 5. When your mind wanders, simply notice that it's happened and gently bring your attention back to your breath. 6. Don't worry if you can't quiet your mind entirely- even just a few moments of peacefulness can be beneficial. There are also many resources available online, such as guided meditation apps or online videos, which can be helpful in guiding your practice. |

What is Fascial Release?
Fascia release maneuvers are a type of manual therapy technique used to help release tension and restriction within the fascia, which is a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs in the body. Trauma can often result in physical tension and restrictions within the fascia, leading to chronic pain, headaches, limited mobility, and other symptoms. Fascia release maneuvers help to address these issues by applying manual pressure and stretching techniques to the affected areas, which can help to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and improve overall movement and function.

In general, this can be expensive and your insurance doesn't cover it. In my experience, it is costly and many patients don't end up repeating the testing to trend their overall progress; however it can still provide insight in specific cases.
I frequently order testing form Genova diagnostics. You can review any of their products and testing available, and sample results.
If you wish to order a specific test, please message me via the patient portal or inform me during your encounter. I am happy to order functional testing to provide insight and answers for you upon your request.

The questionnaire consists of 56 questions, to which you can answer "not at all" through "definitely." Try to be as honest as possible about yourself, as this will get you the most accurate results. Next to a list indicating whether each chakra is under-active, open or over-active, the test results consist of a graph displaying the activity of each chakra. |
Scale of Emotional Vibrations
The spiritual awakening process leads us to a place of an open heart, a higher frequency of emotions. This correlates to the green/heart chakra. When we can open the heart and live through this space, our entire world can and will change. At first this may be transient. Eventually you will find you can keep this heart space open ALL the time!
How to utilize this? At a bare minimum, listen to high frequency music (you can youtube "Solfeggio frequencies"). As a guideline in your spiritual work, we must release lower frequency emotions to attain a higher vibrational level of emotions, such as love, joy, and peace. The Hawkins Scale is a scale of consciousness that was developed by the late Dr. David R. Hawkins, a psychiatrist, consciousness researcher, and spiritual teacher. The Hawkins Scale ranges from 0 to 1000 and measures the level of consciousness associated with different emotions and states of being. According to Hawkins, each level of consciousness has a specific vibration, and the higher the level of consciousness, the higher the vibration. Here is a brief overview of the Hawkins Scale: 0-100: Represents lower levels of consciousness and emotions such as shame, guilt, and fear. 100-200: Represents basic survival emotions such as anger, desire, and pride. 200-300: Represents the level of courage and willingness to move beyond survival consciousness to more of an exploratory mode of self-awareness. 300-400: Represents emotions such as love, joy, and reason that are considered to be positive and constructive. 400-500: Spiritual energies and deeper insight 500-600: Enlightened unconditional love 700-1000: Mystical realization and pure, awakened consciousness The scale is meant to help people understand where their emotions and thoughts are resonating and to help them move to higher levels of consciousness to gain greater spiritual awareness and inner peace. |
