Almost no one gets where they’re going in a straight line. Taylor became a nurse after witnessing her mother, a labor and delivery nurse for more than 30 years, and admiring the dedication and devotion it produced in her. Later, she came to work for IFM after becoming a mom herself and learning the hard way that the world is not often kind to working parents.
Taylor understands now that there is more going on in healthcare than the vitals, lab draws, and injections she still does. There’s a whole world of listening to someone who wants to vent or to just chat with someone who’s a little nervous. Taylor understands the concern a parent has for a sick child and the need for patients to sometimes think outside the box regarding what kind of healthcare they choose. “I quickly realized that there could be an entire world of medicine our there I’d never heard of.” And she’s found a home at IFM. “Here at IFM you are valued as being a mother or father as much as being an employee. I work here. I seek healthcare here. I learn and grow here” |
