How to Inject (Subcutaneous)
Mild nausea, decreased appetite, or digestive changes are common and typically improve as your body adjusts.

Storage & Handling
- Keep syringes refrigerated (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Do not freeze.
- Store flat, away from vibration or movement. Avoid fridge doors or drawers.
- If a syringe is shaken or dropped, inspect the cap. If medication leaks, discard it and contact our office.
Injection Schedule
- Inject once weekly, on the same day each week.
- Rotate sites between abdomen, thigh, or upper arm to reduce irritation.
- Let the syringe sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before use.
How to Inject (Subcutaneous)
- Wash your hands and make sure the skin is clean with alcohol wipe.
- Pinch a fold of skin and insert the needle at a 45–90° angle.
- Push the plunger slowly until empty.
- Allow the syringe to sit for about 5 seconds before removing the needle.
- Remove the needle, slide the clear plastic safety up to cover the needle, and dispose of the syringe in the trash.
