Healing the Motherhood Wound

This past year has been a year of redemption; a year of me reclaiming my highest self.

Recently I asked the Divine Powers that Be, How am I supposed to shine my light?

I waited in the space (there is no time in a meditative space, just being).

A song came through on my meditation playlist. One I have never heard before. One I most certainly didn’t put in the que.

It started singing, This little light of mine used to be scared to shine.

The clarion call came in strong this time, surely not to be missed.

The answer presented softly. And slowly. And subtly.

In all the ways it needed to so that it would be heard.

You were scared of yourself.
You know this self now: her power, her love, and how to live within her seamlessly.
You had to find her to know her, to be able to listen to her, to understand her love.

I can now see her within me, behind closed eyes.

I can now embody her in this physical life.

Who is she? She is my highest self. My soul connected to the Divine Powers that Be.

She said to me:
Be the love.
The light.
Hear your voice.
Heed to the call.
Surrender to the moment.
Let it wash the pain away.

The lessons we must conquer in this life are presented to us in all the persons we meet.

The ability to master the lesson…to heal...innately lives within oneself.

Heeding that call is our one purpose in this life.

I couldn’t for so long. Or yet, wouldn’t.

A wave of gratitude washed these answers over me this past week.

I asked more of her, What does this calling look like?

She said,
It’s time to open your heart;
So that others may find their light that was too afraid to shine.
Now is the time for your soul to sing.

This little light of mine. I’m gonna let it shine.

Because she is the light.

This is inspirational, especially for those that have remained emotionally imoveable. Once you learn to let go, you start to understand, your power surfaces and life becomes more open, more accepting, more loving.
This is inside all of us, for some, waiting to get out.
Thanks Kara!
