Our mind-body connection is very strong, and symptoms of our brain health does have an effect on our physical health. Spending adequate amounts of time with our clients allows us to discuss contributing factors which include mental health. It can be characterized by extreme mood swings of emotional highs (mania/hypomania) and lows (depression). A mood swing episode can occur only rarely for some, while others may experience an episode multiple times per year.
